Ellis Dance Studio is a non competitive studio with performing opportunities for kids and continues through to adult professional dance company. We proudly maintain the highest level of industry standard in the NJ market place and access to the people and tools the students need to achieve their goals and dreams. The studio offers classes in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Exercise, Choreographer, and Industry Workshops. EDS also offers professional headshots, dance pictures, instructional videos, and a supportive space and community for students and directors to showcase and create new work. Students have the wonderful
opportunities to perform in our annual Dance Collage in June. In addition, classes are selected to perform at special charitable events throughout the year. We at EDS enhance the lives by giving our students the confidence and self esteem to believe they can do ALL things with determination, dedication, and a willingness to NEVER GIVE UP.

Kia has choreographed numerous shows; Fame, The Wizard of Oz, Nutcracker, Dance Collage, and many other pieces her students performed at NJPAC and various charitable organizations. Eight of her former students were accepted at three different ballet schools and two performing arts high schools to further their dance career. Kia is very active at her church in Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center where she is involved in dance ministry where she shows her love for God. Her loving ability makes dance fun for the students; while at the same time develops the children to their fullest potential. Her students share her intense energy level and their love for dance is appreciated. Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Creative Movement, Acting, Stretch/Floor Barre, Hip Hop, Personal Trainer and Aerobic Instructor.
